Fleurs de Villes is where fashion, florals, and community meet to create beautiful works of art. Their Mannequin Series tour kicked off in Victoria BC at Mayfair Shopping Centre and is headed across the country with stops in Burnaby, Edmonton, Ottawa, and Burlington.

I was lucky enough to attend the Launch Party last Tuesday and was taken away by how beautiful and individualized each creation is. Each piece is sponsored by a local business and created by a local florist making each stop on the tour completely unique. The imaginations of the florists are endless with beautiful ballerinas, succulent bikinis, a queen of hearts, and even a boat! You can let your mind run wild by imagining the women that would have worn these beautiful works of art in distant times and countries. All of the names of the creations listed below are from the imaginations of my friend and I.

The Victoria display was taken down a few days ago, but if you get a chance to view the tour in another city, or see it next year in Victoria, I highly recommend checking it out. The attention to detail is incredible with layered leaf bustiers, extravagant headpieces, layered high heel shoes, and all around stunning pieces. It’s a great way to spend an afternoon by viewing these works of art and squeeze in some shopping too!
