Ipsy did it again with their Dreamers themed April Glam Bag. All of the brands featured are brands that focus on quality, natural products that don’t expose you to nasty chemicals, and I am loving the cruelty-free, all natural trend that Ipsy has been doing lately. At first I didn’t think all of the products in the April Glam Bag would work for me, but they all ended up being a hit.

#1 C427 DUO FIBER BLUSH BRUSH
This is the perfect brush for my new Colourpop highlighter. The duo fibre makes it great for different products, and it’s super soft. Whenever Ipsy includes makeup brushes and beauty tools I’m stoked because they’re always great quality and pretty much pay for the price of the bag with just the one product. A 25% coupon code is also given for any Crown Brush purchase. Retail Value $23.73
I’ve received a Trust Fund Beauty product in one other Glam Bag and absolutely love the brand. They’re always vegan and cruelty-free, and believe in minimizing the toxicity that you’re exposed to with most common beauty products – swoon! At first I thought this highlighter would be too dark, but it turned out to be a great shade for my pale skin. The product is very buildable easily taking your look from the office to the party. They also included a wicked awesome 35% off coupon code. Value $20.00 USD
Adesse boasts that this gel effect nail polish will give your nails the “plump” look of gel polish without a UV or LED lamp. I didn’t notice a plump look, but I found that it was a long lasting, and fast drying formula. You may be able to get the plump look with more applications, I only did 2 coats to test it out. The light grey shade looks great and is very on trend right now. Another great plus is that this nail polish barely has any bad smell – great for boyfriends and small spaces. Adesse included free shipping with their 20% off coupon code. Value $18.00 USD
#4 BLUE LOTUS + WHITE TEA SHEET MASK & BLUE LOTUS + SEAWEED SHEET MASK
This is another brand that I’ve received in previous glam bags, and I’ve always been happy with their products. A former Power Ranger star (Vypra) teamed up with her grandmother to bring natural beauty products based on Asian beauty wisdom. These sheet masks left my skin feeling nice and soft, and I like that 2 of them came in the glam bag, rather than just 1 like I have seen with other subscription services. Pur~lisse was generous enough to offer a 30% off coupon code. Value $16.00 USD
Tarte Cosmetics is another great brand providing cruelty-free products with good-for-you ingredients. The formula is nice and creamy, and doesn’t dry out your lips. It’s high pigmented and long lasting. This lip creme lives up to the high standards I have for Tarte Cosmetics after receiving one of their lip glosses in another subscription. Ipsy tip – this product doubles as a blush – who doesn’t love a good multipurpose product. It comes with a 20% off coupon code for all Tarte Cosmetic purchases. Value $29 CAD
The April Ipsy Glam Bag was filled with value with the products totalling a value of over $105 USD for the cheap price of $10 for Americans, and $20 for Canadians. Even though us Canadians have to pay extra shipping and the currency conversion this monthly makeup bag is still so so worth it – just look at all the items that were packed in it! If you’d like to see if all Ipsy Glam Bags are as great as April’s was check out my February, and January reviews, or compare to other sites like Ipsy, like Birchbox or Fab Fit Fun reviews. As always I love hearing from you. Please share what your favourite item was in your Ipsy bag, or if you have any questions to find out if Ipsy is right for you.
