Trendy Tuesday – Pop of Yellow

Things have been pretty hectic lately and I figured for this Trendy Tuesday I would give you guys an update as to why I haven’t been posting much over the past month.

Dress up jeans and a shirt with a pop of colour. At work I’ve been dealing with a change of ownership for the company I work for. They’re a great company and everything is going very smoothly for my staff and customers, but being the manager I’ve been dealing with ALOT on my plate, and it just so happened to be at the exact same time we found out our loving husky Kula was diagnosed with cancer and had to be laid to rest just 2 weeks after first taking her to the vet.

I don’t think I’ve ever dealt with so much daily stress and being so emotionally drained¬†every day dealing with grief, but through everything it really showed me how strong I am, and how well Matt and I came together as a couple supporting each other. No matter what’s going on in your life, and how much you have on your plate, you need to push through it. Life continues on, things will get better, and you will walk out the other side.

Sometimes you just need to put things on hold and spend time with your family appreciating every moment you have, and there’s no reason to feel guilty for not getting everything done. We can’t do everything, be everywhere, everytime. It’s ok to let things slip while you’re dealing with life. The important thing is to be present in your life, and get back to that to do list and your passions once things have calmed down a little.

July was a rough month, but now that we’re through the other side I feel excited to get back into things, and put my full heart into blogging and making a career for myself. This is what I love doing, this is what I’m passionate about, and I will create my dream job out of it. So now that I’m back I’ll be posting at least twice a week again, every Tuesday and Friday, with subscription box reviews on the Sunday after I receive them. Thank you so much for your patience and support. I’m so ready to give you some killer content and grow this community of fashionable, healthy, happy women.
