Happy Friday and happy long weekend! This Friday I am bringing back Friday videos with a fun spring date night makeup tutorial.
Originally I had a different post planned, a tutorial for the cargo cosmetics palette that was an add on for the Spring Fab Fit Fun box. I tried using the palette a few times over the week, but found myself uninspired by the colour palette as it seemed more suited to people with green eyes. It kinda sucks because I was really looking forward to that palette, and it’s really good quality, but that is something to note, make sure to take a good look at the colour selection and don’t leap for the next cute palette on sale for a good deal. Guilty!
So instead of the original plan I am switching gears to a spring look I’ve been wearing more frequently using my new favourite natural cosmetics products from Elate. You’ve probably heard me talk about them on Instagram and even on my Facebook Live Lipstick Swatch so I won’t go into too much detail, but they are a great natural cosmetics brand with a sustainable and inclusive focus. Love!
This makeup look is great for a spring date night, but could also be toned down for an everyday look. Go a bit lighter on the eye shadow application, skip the contour and just use a little blush and a light dusting of highlight. Bam, good to go for a cute spring brunch.
