You’ve probably noticed me posting more and more about essential oils and about the Simply Earth subscription box (August Unboxing, October Unboxing, DIY Shelves, Essential Oils for Energy). There’s a lot of variables when it comes to essential oils, and we want to make sure we are exposing our families to safe and natural products. That’s why I wanted to take the time to do this Simply Earth Review to go over why I choose Simply Earth and why I share about them so much.
Simply Earth reached out to work with me in the summer and since then I have completely fallen in love with the brand. Their values closely align with mine and I feel like they hit the nail on the head when it comes to quality, education, customer service, and affordability. We all have our favourite brand for our own reasons. I’m hoping this Simply Earth review will shine some light on what to look for in an essential oils brand and you can choose your favourite.
I’ve also included an unboxing for their November subscription box which is super fun and holiday themed so make sure you check that out and scroll to the bottom for an awesome coupon code to help you get a ton of free goodies <3
Quality is extremely important to Simply Earth and is on the same level as the other top essential oil companies, Do Terra and Young Living. Simply Earth chooses the best regions for each type of essential oil and works closely with the farmers to ensure the entire process is completed ethically and fairly to preserve the purity of the oils. Every single batch is then tested to ensure 100% purity and the GC/MS reports are available to anyone.
EDIT: Currently they are not available to everyone as they are updating their websie. They hope to have them available for June 2019.
All of their oils are backed by their 365 day Simply Earth guarantee. You can rest easy knowing that Simply Earth is pure and safe to use around your family. For more information, you can view their Simply Pure Promise on their website.
What really sets Simply Earth apart from the crowd is that they provide loads of free education to their customers and anyone else interested, no purchase required! On their website, you can find a FREE 52-page ebook that contains information about the basic information about every oil, as well as the safety and proper usage. You guys, this ebook is amazing!
You can also view all of their previous subscription box recipes on their blog. It’s a great resource if you’re wanting to make a new DIY makeup remover, insect repellant, or anything else your granola self wants to try and make.
Simply Earth’s customer service is so so good! They’re quick to respond to answer even the simplest of questions, and will happily fix any order issues no questions asked. Every time I’ve contacted them it has been a very pleasant experience. If you order from them don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
Simply Earth started, in part, because they realized how overpriced the current essential oil market is. They want to make having a natural home very accessible which is why they have such a strong educational aspect and have such reasonable prices. Their price points tend to be 1/2 – 1/3 of the competitors’ prices making it almost too easy to expand your essential oil collection.
Most essential oils are roughly $10 -$15, and their carrier oils are $8 – $12. The subscription box which can be ordered monthly or quarterly and is $39 (see more information below for what’s included). All prices are in US dollars.
The average age of an individual forced into human trafficking is 13 and that’s why Simply Earth has chosen to donate 13% of their profits to go towards fighting against Human Trafficking. Every month they highlight a different organization. For November they are partnering with Teens Against Sex Trafficking to help educate teens about trafficking and to be aware of the signs of abuse and trafficking.
The November Simply Earth box helps get you into the holiday spirit with some festive essential oils and DIY’s. I’m most excited about the ache relief essential oil blend that will be used as a roll on many times over. The ornament diffuser is a great idea to keep your tree smelling fresh, but I’m totally going to use it as a car air freshener which I think is kinda genius 😉 All in all, it has some great oils, and I’m excited to make and use all of the recipes!
If you are interested in shopping at Simply Earth you can click on pretty much any of the links included in this review. If you’re interested in the subscription box make sure you use the code HSFFREE. With that you’re going to get a ton of free goodies including:
A big bonus with tons of bottles and carrier oils (see my August unboxing for a full look). It’s seriously the best freebie!
$20 gift certificate to use in their shop. You can use this to grab some extra carrier oils or some of their awesome essential oils blends, or anything else you fancy.
As you can probably tell, I am a little obsessed with Simply Earth, and that’s for good reason! As soon as this company reached out to work with me I knew we’d be a great fit. We’re both all about making it accessible to have a healthy and happy home. Simply Earth does this with a seriously amazing amount of free education and very reasonable prices all while maintaining a high standard for quality. What more could you ask for in an essential oil company?
The subscription box is one of my favourite boxes. I’ve since canceled all of my other monthly boxes and only receive one other quarterly one that I’ve been getting for years. It’s a great way to build your essential oil collection (mine grew so quickly I had to make some DIY shelves), and it’s so fun making the DIY’s every month. If essential oils and creating a natural home are up your alley, you won’t be disappointed with choosing Simply Earth.
As always I’m here for any questions you may have. Just make sure to drop them in the comments below or reach out to me on Instagram or Facebook @HappyStylishFit. You can also check me out on Pinterest for lots of oily and healthy living inspiration for mamas.
