September Ipsy Glam Bag Review

The Glamazon bag is another fabulous month of Ipsy. Before I get started with the review I’d like to give a huge shoutout to Ipsy’s customer care. I had a billing mix up in August because of a new bank card, and they were happy to help me out and make sure I received my bag. I panicked a bit when I received my September bag before my August one, but they were patient with answering my emails and I received the August bag a few days later. Ipsy has always been happy to help with any questions I have and has made sure I receive a quality product/bag every time. Their customer care team is one of the best parts about Ipsy.

#1 NAIL COLOUR IN SIZZLING REDFind out what's inside and Ipsy Glam Bag with this September Ipsy Glam Bag Review. See if it's worth it to sign up.

The Sizzling Red adds that perfect pop of colour to any outfit. This animal friendly formula has a long lasting, chip resistant finish. I’ll keep my eye open for them in stores, Ulta3’s products have good value pricing. Value $2.30 USD, 30% off coupon code and free shipping for orders over $20 USD also included.

This all natural lip and cheek stain is sooo soft and buttery. I’ve only used it on my lips and loved the moisturizing formula. The natural guava stain compliments most skin tones and gave my pale skin a bit of a glow. I will definitely keep my eye out for more products by Seraphine Botanicals. Value $24.00 USD , 30% off coupon code included.

This styling treatment does more than just leave your hair smooth and voluminous,  it also conditions and strengthens. With a patented formula it’s sure to leave your hair strong and soft. Value for smallest size $15 USD, Free travel size dry volume blast coupon code included for orders over $22.00 USD.

#4 TARTEIST LASH PAINT MASCARAFind out what's inside and Ipsy Glam Bag with this September Ipsy Glam Bag Review. See if it's worth it to sign up.

I have become obsessed with this new mascara. It lengthens and volumizes all in one coat. It has a very similar straight rubbery brush to one of my favourite drug store mascaras, Rimmel Lash Accelerator. I’ve always been more of a drugstore brand kind of girl, but I think I’ll have to start splurging on this mascara – It’s uh-mazing! Value for full size $23.00 USD, 20% off coupon code also included.

This BB Cream worked well to even out my skin tone and cover up any redness. It’s SPF formula is made from ingredients that soothe and hydrate irritation prone skin like mine. I like this formula more than the BB creams I already own. Value for the full size is $32.00, free gift for purchases over $55.00 USD included.

September was another fantastic bag from team Ipsy. I’m very happy with all of the products and highly recommend anyone interested in Ipsy to sign up. With it’s low cost it’s such a fun and easy way to get a treat in the mail and check out new products. I’ve been able to learn so much more about new brands and new favourites then I would have been able to without Ipsy.

That nail colour is perfect for fall/winter. I really like my Tarte Lights Camera Lashes mascara but I haven’t tried the Tartiest Lash, will have to check it out!

I’ll have to try out the Lights Camera Lashes. If it’s close to Tartiest then it’s so worth getting!

You got a great mix! I have always wondering about the perfect hair treatment but afraid to splurge! I think I will pick up the smaller tube though. I currently get a Birchbox and some months are like “ok let’s pack you right up and send you back” haha!

oh brutal, I’ve never felt that way about Ipsy. Theres only been a few months that have been kind of meh, but overall they’re great, especially when you do all the reviews they just keep getting better and more tailor to your likes.
I’m liking the hair treatment, I don’t know how much it retails for. Great idea to try out the smaller tube first 🙂

I was thinking about joining a subscription. Have you tried any others?

    • Jannine September 29, 2016 at 7:45 pm - Reply

I’ve also tried Birchbox, Fab Fit Fun, Urth Box, and Trinity Box. Out of all of them Ipsy and Fab Fit Fun are my absolute faves. Ipsy is great because it’s a low fee for monthly samples that for the most part I always enjoy the majority of the items. I barely buy makeup any more because of it 🙂 Fab Fit Fun is a little bit more pricey, but it comes seasonally rather than monthly, and has all full sized products. There’s always a hair product, beauty product, fashion product, fitness type product, and lots of other fun goodies. If you’re thinking of signing up for one, then I’d say Ipsy is probably a great place to start. It’s super affordable so it’s a great way to test the waters. The more you review the items, the better your bags get.

I really like that bag for September! Is Ultr3 free of those top 5 chemicals? I am slowly transitioning to natural nail polish (so tough since I have built such a toxic but colorful collection over the years!)

    • Jannine September 29, 2016 at 7:32 pm - Reply

I fell ya! I’m doing the same thing by not purchasing any more toxic makeup products, and am slowly working on other beauty products. I still haven’t made the switch for most my shower products, but I’m getting there 🙂
I don’t think Ulta3 is 5 free, it’s just animal friendly. Trust Fund beauty is my favourite for 5 free and vegan friendly – it’s actually 10 free! It works just as well, if not better than my other polishes. I talk about it in my Febraury Ipsy Review. Adesse is another great brand that is 5 free and cruelty free. I talk about it in my April Ipsy Review if you wanted to take a look.
