Happy Tuesday everyone! Today I’m sharing one of the ways I like to style my favourite burgundy leather jacket. A few years ago I found this jacket on sale at Dynamite for somewhere around $30 and wear it basically every day it’s weather and outfit appropriate – probably at least 50% of the year. It’s such a versatile piece that can be dressed up or dressed down, and I especially like the quilting details on the shoulders.
I paired it with one of my new favourite tshirts that I bought from Walmart recently. The slub detail of the fabric is very on trend right now and gives it a little something extra compared to a plain tee. The other reason why I love it is the cute off to the side hemline. It’s the perfect length to wear with leggings or pants, and I’ve been seeing more and more tops with hemlines like this. I find that it lengthens my legs and adds that extra bit detail.
I accessorized the outfit with a blue scarf that a coworker’s wife made for me that layers perfectly with this long layered lace and beaded necklace. I’m all about layering accessories and finding new ways that aren’t typical layered necklaces – which I still love. This cut out purse and boots add the perfect mix of texture and patterns. Shop the look and see the full outfit details below.
