We are a big Costco family. Logan and I go every 2 weeks to stock up on produce and get some other snacks and pantry items. On Instagram you guys have shown a lot of interest in what we regularily buy so I wanted to show you my top 7 healthy costco snacks. If you like these kinds of posts let me know in the comments below and I can create a series to include our pantry staples, smoothie supplies, etc.
This list of Costco snacks includes a bit of everything to satisfy your cravings from spicy to salty to sweet to savory. They’re all quick and easy to reach for with little to no preparation, and they all lean on the healthier side. That being said it really does depend on your interpretation of healthy. I have included gummy snacks in the list, and yes they have sugar in them, but they’re also made with much more natural ingredients that you can actually pronounce compared to other brands they carry.
I should note that we shop at the Victoria BC Costco location. I’m sure their stock varies from store to store, province to province, state to state, Canada to the US, etc. Hopefully you can find something similar at your local Costco.
Sweet & Spicy Ranch Que Pasa Chips & Pace Salsa
Matt and I have been having this snack on repeat lately! The chips are like a healthier vegan version of ranch Doritos, and they go so well with Pace salsa! We tried the Kirkland brand salsa but it was a bit too beany tasting for us, so I recommend going with Pace unless you really like that bean flavour. The chips also add an extra punch to some layered cheesy nachos for dinner.
Apples & Peanut Butter
Full disclosure, I don’t actually get my apples from Costco because I’m super picky about them having to be granny smith and they don’t seem to carry that kind. However, they have so many different varieties of apples so as long as you’re not as picky as me I’m sure you can find something that will do the trick. We also go through peanut butter like crazy in our house and Costco is the best place to buy it. My personal favourite is their natural peanut butter. We also get the basic Kraft peanut butter for Matt (he can be stubborn with what he likes, just like I am about apples!), and almond butter for Logan because it’s higher in calcium.

Babybels & Crackers
If you eat dairy you can’t go wrong with some basic cheese and crackers. I like getting the Babybels because they’re individually wrapped so they’re easy to grab for Logan to snack on the go. You can also get a nice selection of 4 different sliced cheeses that come in a pack together. Costco has many different options for crackers, but we really like the Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps and Breton Cracker Pack. I’m still patiently waiting for them to start carrying my all time favourite cracker, Triscuits.
Kirkland Organic Fruity Snacks
Warning, these gummies are super addictive! Matt insists on always having a box in our house for when that sweet tooth hits. To be fair, they’re not exactly healthy, but I feel good knowing they’re made with more natural ingredients compared to competitive brands. They don’t contain gelatin either so depending how vegan you are you can eat them. I say it depends because the label does say may contain milk and eggs because they’re made in the same factory as items containing those ingredients.
Inno Foods Coconut Clusters
These superfood clusters are made of pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and chia seeds with a bit of cane sugar and brown rice syrup to make everything stick together. They’re super tasty and hit all the boxes when it comes to organic, non-gmo, kosher, gluten free, vegan friendly with no artifical ingredients.
RW Garcia Lentil with Tumeric Crackers & Wholly Guacamole
This was my main go to snack last summer and fall. It’s so convenient to grab some crackers and open up a guacamole pack for a quick bite to eat. The flavours go so well together, but unfortunately, they don’t go well with my pregnancy so I have to hold off for a while 😞 Sorry about the not so nice picture, but like I said, I can’t stand the smell but I still wanted to show you guys what to look for when in store.
There ya have it, my top 7 healthy Costco snacks. If you would like to see more about what we get from Costco including things for smoothies, baking, and household staples, please let me know in the comments below.
