Pinterest is my favourite resource for searching for a new dinner recipe, or any recipe for that matter, and I’m sure the same is true for most of you. A lot of the recipes look amazing, but I can be left wondering just how easy it is to make, and does it really taste as good as it looks. This is a collection of 3 recipes I have actually cooked. They taste great and are easy to make.
Chungah from Damn Delicious has some damn delicious recipes for your everyday home cook. Her recipes contain simple ingredients and cover a ton of categories like one pot and crock pot meals, asian meals, game day food, and even dog food!
I loved how easy this basic healthy dinner recipe was to make. Her one pot zucchini mushroom pasta is great for busy week night dinners. All you have to do is toss almost all of the ingredients in a pot to cook. Then add the cream and parm, and within 20 minutes you have a tasty, simple meal. For a meatier taste ham or bacon would compliment nicely.

Julia has a lot of tasty looking recipes including gluten free and vegetarian dishes. She has lots of great salad ideas in addition to hearty comfort food dinners. Her desserts look super tasty too!
This recipe was absolutely delicious, Matt went back for a third helping! If cheesy pasta is your thing I’m sure you’ll love this recipe. The flavour of the sun dried tomatoes with the chicken and cheesy sauce is sooo good!
The full cook time is roughly an hour, and is easy to prepare. I like that it doesn’t use any prepackaged sauces, just half and half, spices, and some pasta water.

Gina from Skinny Taste has lots of great slimmed down, healthy recipes. She also has a lot of great weekly dinner meal plans that take the thinking out of planning your weekly dinners. Her site is great if you are looking for healthier options and wanting to simplify your meal planning.
This is my favourite dinner recipe of the 3, I’ve made it several times, and it’s actually a really great camping meal. I prepare it ahead of time in a dollar store silver throwaway cooking container and heat it up on the camping stove for dinner, and add the pickles as we dish up. It’s a huge hit with my group of friends.
This recipes is simple to make, just cook the pasta and the meat, then throw everything together in the oven. It contains all your classic cheeseburger favourites and switches out the bun for some pasta, and who doesn’t love a chance to add pickles to a dinner recipe.
